About Shadow
My name is Ying, and I am a certified TESOL/TEFL teacher. I have extensive experience teaching English to students of various levels. I had taught English for pilots and flight attendants of China Civil Aviation Flight College for two years. I also taught courses related to culture and history at St. Mary's University as a part-time instructor.
In addition to my TESOL/TEFL Certificate, I graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Culture Communications and Master of Arts Political Science from University of Guelph.
I am passionate about helping students improve their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills of English. I believe learning English should be interactive, enjoyable and practical.

In my classes, I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and practice confidently without fear of making mistakes. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where everyone can grow and improve step by step.
I am patient with students and especially enthusiastic about teaching kids. In addition to all that, I am fluent in both Chinese and English.
