About Kilian
Hi there! I am a German native - born and raised in Bonn, NRW - which absolutely loves teaching.
I have continuously taught for the 4 years. From 2013-5, I taught German to Chinese-speakers (one-to-one). In total, I have taught 4 students, the youngest one was 7 years old, the oldest one was 40 years old. My tuition covered beginner`s level (i.e. teaching basic grammatical structures) as well as business German.
From 2017-18, I have taught law at Maastricht University`s Faculty of law as a junior teaching fellow (which I have graduated w/ first class honours). I taught 4 courses, just like PhD students or full professors do. The classes had an average size of 14 students - which I prepared myself - and I was always evaluated very highly by my students.
My accent is 100% and I am willing - of course - to adapt our tutorials to your needs. If you feel uncomfortable speaking, we'll sit down and chat; if you feel like the grammar is giving you a headache, I'll break it down and we can practice it.
