About Ben
I am a graduate student in mathematical logic. Although I always liked mathematics, I would find myself confused in school, because of lack of context, explanation, and definition. This confusion has motivated my interest in mathematical logic, and informed my teaching style: I aim to be precise, clear, and to invite questions.

As a tutor, I focus on cultivating the tutee's understanding, as well as ensuring good exam performance. In an hour-long mathematics lesson, we can expect to cover a topic, see worked examples together, before the tutee tries some on their own, which we will then discuss.
