About Lauren
I have always had a passion for French and Francophone language and culture! This passion began in high school as it was one of the subjects that I felt the happiest in and the most confident in! I fell in love with the language and culture so much that I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree in French and Francophone studies, originally wanting to go into the field of international law or business. However, during a teaching externship, I fell in love with getting to facilitate the joy of language learning within young minds, ultimately leading me to pursue a Master of Education in Teaching World Language from Vanderbilt University! I have had several semesters of experience within various classroom spaces and am excited to work with bright minds to further expand their language learning journey!

In our tutoring sessions, you can expect to receive dedicated, one-on-one instruction on the diverse aspects of the French Language. We will work through grammar and verb tenses, writing workshops, and have dedicated practice within the four disciplines of communication, reading, listening, writing, and speaking. We will have the chance to do all of this through the vision of French and Francophone culture using authentic, real-world materials.
