I employ a teaching strategy that caters to the learning styles my students employ while motivating them to develop better learning strategies. I make use of feedback loops to gauge the response my pupils have to content pace and display.
My lessons are aimed at being able to educate High School to Middle school students in the maths and sciences.
A typical lesson would have me begin by giving a preamble of some sort that illustrates the important and application of the lessons content to my students on a personal level.
Next, I would go through the lecture itself in a conversational manner thus creating an interactive environment engaging my students the whole way through. This not only also provides me with information for how to better adjust my lessons but also fosters a deeper connection between the student and the lesson content.
The lecture would conclude with an informal survey inquiring about the perceived lecture pacing and their confidence in said lesson's content now versus at the start of the lecture.
