HI KIDS!! I am Chanesia Jodelle Kisten but you can call me Miss K
I am proudly from SOUTH AFRICA.
I am a Certified TEFL teacher with experience teaching English to students aged 5-15 in the Foundation phase, Intermediate phase, Senior phase. My goal is to help you feel confident speaking, reading, and writing in English through lessons that are patient, engaging, and tailored to your level.
I focus on practical communication and clear explanations, so you will understand not just what to say, but why it works. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your grades, or just want to speak more fluently, I will adapt each lesson to your pace and goals.
I am honestly reliable and committed to creating a supportive space where it is okay to make mistakes and learn from them. I pay close attention to spelling, grammar, and pronunciation, and I always give constructive feedback. SO LET US WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE ENGLISH LESS STRESSFUL AND A LOT MORE FUN!!

I use a student-centered, communicative approach that focuses on speaking and real-life English use. My lessons are interactive, fun, and practical, so you'll start using English from day one. What makes me unique is my ability to adapt each lesson to your goals, pace, and learning style - whether you're shy, a fast learner, or preparing for an exam.
I am a Native/proficient English speaker and teach English only, following the direct method. This helps you think in English faster and build confidence quickly.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A TYPICAL LESSON:
1 Warm-ups: 5 min of conversation, grammar, or speaking practical
2 Main focus: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciations.
3 Practice: role-plays, discussions, or exercises to apply what you have learned
4 Feedback: I'll correct you gently and give you tips on improvement
I ALSO SEND A SHORT SUMMARY AND HOMEWORK AFTER EACH LESSON. IF YOU WANT IT.
