About Andy
Hi there! I’m a TEFL-certified English teacher currently based in Dublin, Ireland. Having lived in the USA, Brazil, Italy, Taiwan, and now Ireland, I bring a truly international perspective to my lessons. I love meeting people from different cultures and creating a relaxed, friendly space where you can feel comfortable speaking English.
I have teaching experience in Taiwan, including after-school English and STEM programs at Taipei American School (TAS) for students in Grades 1–4, as well as teaching at Ching Shin Summer Camp. I also hold an MBA, which allows me to bring a practical and professional approach to English, especially for students interested in improving their communication skills.

My approach as a tutor is to make lessons clear, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning style and goals. I start by reviewing previous topics, explain new concepts with simple examples, and include guided practice before moving to independent exercises. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and provide constructive feedback to build confidence. My lessons are suitable for primary, secondary, and beginner university students who want to strengthen their understanding, prepare for exams, or improve their academic skills at their own pace.
