About David
Hello Everyone, I am David, A TEFL Certified English Tutor. I began teaching by working with artists to improve their creative use of English and I developed as a teacher from there.
I was born in Nigeria, grew up in Ireland, currently live in Croatia and I have lived and travelled around a lot of South East Asia. So you can see I am familiar with being a foreigner living in a new place learning to communicate with the local people.
Through my experiences I have learned the importance of being able to communicate clearly and confidently. Language is how we share our thoughts and ideas with each other and I believe everyone deserves the ability to do this.
Some of my hobbies and interests include watching movies, writing, making and listening to music, playing basketball and skateboarding. If we have something in common, I hope we can chat about it, and if you have different interests, I look forward to learning about them.
No matter your skills level, if you are a beginner, intermediate and advanced students, you can always improve your skills with the right encouragement and support.
I look forward to getting to know you and helping you realize your true potential with English.

My teaching style is generally very relaxed and patient, I like to create a safe space for students to feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
I teach all ages from Children to the Elderly. All are welcome.
I teach all areas of the English language (Grammar, Pronunciation, Form, etc.)
I specialize in Conversational & Creative English (Essay writing, lyrics and poetry writing) and English skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)
