About Guy
A bit about myself: I am an outgoing person that loves to meet new people, and to travel to new places. Also, I am easy going, and not difficult to talk to. I am a very good conversationalist.
I have travelled to every continent except South America. I believe this experience makes it easier to teach students from different countries, and cultures.
My hobbies include reading, writing (I have often written for my local newspaper), music (I love classical music, and pop music), football (I am a Manchester United supporter, social media (I love Twitter), and lastly, I am very passionate about psychology. I can talk about this all day long.

My qualifications include a CertTesol teaching certificate, as well as a bachelor degree in psychology
My lessons are typically 45 minutes long but these lessons can be longer or shorter if a student desires.
My teaching philosophy is the view that students learn by doing, so in my lessons I ask many questions, and create activities that get students to use the language as much as possible.
The materials I use: I use a range of books, textbooks, videos, and newspapers to stimulate students to practice using the language. I also set homework as I believe that if students use the language for at least 20 minutes a day, students can improve at a steady pace.I like to send this material before lessons so that students can be stimulated to make conversation during lessons.
Another point: I have a system of teaching that helps students improve at a consistent pace. I like to teach the overlaps between reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This method helps students save time.
Also, I typically teach students that are at all levels of language ability—beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
