About McKenna
My name is McKenna, and I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh. I have worked in a psycholinguistics lab and am highly interested in teaching English as a second language! I have my TEFL Certification and plan to travel abroad for the 2025-2026 school year to teach English as a second language in person. I am not looking to make a lot of money here but to share my love for teaching English!

For second language teaching, I was trained to teach virtually through my 220-hour Level 5 certification course. I use a method of instruction where I teach meaning, then pronunciation, and then form, allowing students to discover these as we go.I integrate words/cases from previous languages to help build students' vocabulary and understanding. I can tailor my teaching to business English, students who want a strong base, or students who need English for traveling purposes!
