About Shannon
I have been in the education field, gaining a Bachelor's and a Master's during the past 10 years. I have expertise in teaching English Acquisition and English Language Arts. I am also qualified to teach and train adults in education or adults who want to better their English language skills. As an elementary school teacher, I also have a lot of experience teaching English by integrating other subjects like science and social studies. Project based learning is a big part of my teaching style!

Lessons will include phonics, reading, writing, and comprehension. I use decodable readers, manipulatives, and projects to help with language acquisition. My lessons are fun and you barely realize that you're learning! I can supplement what your child is learning in the classroom, or I can help someone who is trying to learn English (at any age/level!). My Master's is in Teaching English and I am qualified to teach kids as young as kindergarten to adults.
