About Allison
My name is Allison Espinosa. I grew up in Ohio but spent my late teenage years and most of my adult life in Texas. I received my BA and teaching certificate from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. In 2006, I started my teaching career in West Texas where I focused on elementary education and reading remediation. I have taught within the classroom in Indiana, Arizona, and Texas. I have also developed and implemented online educational programs for six years to autistic, gifted and special needs homeschool students throughout the United States. In 2023, I began my international teaching career when I taught second grade in Bahrain, Myanmar and Laos.
Outside of the classroom I am an author of over twenty books. I am also a graphic designer, artist, photographer, and publisher. I love history, hiking, nature, reading, and learning about different world
cultures.

My lessons are personalized to the student's learning style and ability. My writing and reading lessons are for all grade levels. What sets me apart as a tutor is how my classes are created. I get to know my students so that when my students come to class the subject matter is approached in a way that they understand.
I teach reading, writing, executive function skills, social studies, science and math.
My students love my classes so much they often remark how fast the time went by!
