About Jay
I am an avid reader, occasional writer and a full-time pursuer of a bachelor's degree.
I have expereince in eisteddfod events that focus on poetry, public speaking and readng for which I have been awarded. My not-so-favourable traits: mentally corrrecting grammar of billboards, other people, books and quite frankly anything with words on it.

I take a student-centered approach to teaching where both the student and I contribute to facilitate comprehension depending on the students learning styles.
My focus is english at highschool level, however I am able to adapt my focus for primary school or foundation-phase learning.
Assessments and activities will focus on improving the students ability to read and comprehend, write and hold proper conversations. The reading material is based on books and articles. I advise students to immerse themselves in environments that encourage them to practise speaking english.
