About Lumen
The Lumen4you English Course is an intensive online and personalized fluency training in English with the aim of providing the highest level of performance in language learning. We help our students use their time wisely with 100% online teachers in private tutoring live by video conferencing in an ecosystem designed to direct you to fluency in the language. We use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) SPECTER INICIANTE (A1) It is able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions, as well as very simple statements, aimed at satisfying concrete needs. You can introduce yourself and others and you are able to ask questions and give answers about personal aspects such as where you live, the people you know and the things you have. You can communicate in a simple way if the caller speaks slowly and distinctly and is cooperative. Basic SPECTER (A2) Can understand isolated phrases and frequent phrases related to immediate priority areas (eg, simple personal and family information, shopping, surroundings). He is able to communicate in simple tasks and routines that require only a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and habitual subjects. Specter Intermediary (B1) Is able to understand the main issues when using clear and standardized language and familiar subjects (topics covered at work, at school and at leisure, etc.). It is able to handle most situations found in the area where English is spoken. He is able to produce a simple and coherent speech on subjects that are familiar or of personal interest to him. It can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, as well as briefly explaining reasons and justifications for an opinion or a project. Advanced Specter (B2) Is able to understand the main ideas in complex texts on concrete and abstract subjects, including technical discussions in your area of expertise. It is able to communicate with a certain degree of spontaneity with native speakers, without there being tension from part to part. He is able to express himself in a clear and detailed manner on a great variety of subjects and to explain a point of view on a current theme, exposing the advantages and disadvantages of various possibilities. Specter Proficient (C1) Can understand a vast number of long and demanding texts, recognizing their implicit meanings. She is able to express herself fluently and spontaneously without having to look for words. It is able to use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. It can express itself on complex issues, in a clear and well-structured manner, manifesting the mastery of mechanisms of organization, articulation and cohesion of discourse. Full Specter (C2) You can easily understand virtually everything you hear or read. It is able to summarize the information gathered from various oral and written sources, reconstructing arguments and facts in a coherent way. He is able to express himself spontaneously, fluently and accurately, being able to distinguish fine variations of meaning in complex situations.
