To avoid wasted time this should be agreed before our session (weekly where necessary). To ensure effective understanding, I typically structure our lessons in two parts. Firstly, we'll engage in in-depth discussions of key concepts, where I'll provide clear explanations and examples. This initial phase sets a strong foundation for your learning journey. In the second half, we'll put theory into practice by tackling relevant practice questions. However, I understand that everyone learns differently, so our approach can be adapted to what works best for you. My aim is to make our lessons enjoyable and engaging. I utilise a diverse range of teaching methods, including visual aids like graphs and diagrams, to simplify complex ideas. By employing various techniques, I ensure that the learning experience is interactive and caters to your unique learning style. Additionally, I understand the importance of retaining knowledge beyond our sessions. To assist you further, I can provide a summary of notes after each lesson. Jude really helped me to gain confidence in my mathematic ability. I gave him topics I lacked confidence in and he always brought me questions and material that challenged me. I went on to get a 9 in my GCSEs and Jude was definitely a huge reason why.
Jude helped me achieve an A* in maths and an A* in Numeracy (WJEC), a year early in year 10. He was amazing at explaining the problem and was patient when I didn’t get things right. He even took the time to learn new methods that helped me understand difficult questions. I would recommend Jude to anyone, no matter the maths ability!
