About Sofia
I am a final year Theoretical Physics student at Imperial College. I have +3 years of experience teaching Maths, Physics and languages to all types of levels and backgrounds (from 7 to 18 year-olds), both online and in-person. I have excelled at all levels during my whole educational journey, currently in the top 10% of my cohort.
As a passionate learner myself (Maths, Physics, Mandarin Chinese, Finance, and many more!) I have been exactly where you are, so I can empathise with your learning journey. I am originally from Spain, but since I was 7 years old until now, I have been studying French and living with French nationals.
The best way to learn a subject is to be passionate about it, therefore I will try to spark your genuine interest in whatever topic I am teaching, so that you are inquisitive and willing to learn more.

I believe no subject is too hard for anyone, it's all about learning it the right way! In our first lesson, I will find out what teaching style suits you best (did you know there exist around 7 types of intelligence and 3 types of learners?) and we will also set some clear goals for the year with deadlines so that we can meet these objectives.
Depending on your aims, whether you want to pass an exam or are simply interested in learning, I will set different weekly homework. On top of this, I will provide weekly feedback on your progress.
I am familiar with the A-level Physics, Maths and Further Maths curricula and standards, as well as IB (International Baccalaureate). I personally obtained full marks in all of my secondary education papers.
