Hi there! I am currently a Master's student in Social Work and have a background in both tutoring and being a teacher's assistant for all ages.

About Penelope
I have always been passionate about tutoring and helping others, starting from a young age. I particularly enjoy working with individuals in need of help with any type of writing (creative, academic, professional, etc.) or Spanish proficiency. I graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University where I was a teacher's assistant for a Philosophy class, an English literature class, and a Biology class. I have co-written a book in addition to having some of my poetry published. I also completed two theses while in college, as I double majored in Psychology and Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. I am fluent in the Spanish language, and am a bilingual social worker and therapist. I am currently in my final quarter at the University of Chicago getting my Master's in Social Work.

I have a background in tutoring all ages, and being a teacher's assistant in college courses. I approach our sessions in a manner that works for you, as I'm passionate about putting my students first and making the learning environment feel manageable and fun. I am currently a therapist, which I strongly believe to be helpful in my tutoring, as I'm very flexible and open to whatever my student needs.
