Hi there!

I'm currently working as a GCSE English lecturer at my local college, teaching the new grade 1-9 course in English Language.

Last year, I worked as an English lecturer and personal tutor for an OFSTED graded 'outstanding' ixth form college, teaching A-level English Language and Literature and GCSE English (the old spec). Additionally to this role, I also privately tutored a number of my sixth form students as well as other students who I had been recommended to, teaching; key stage 3 English, GCSE English and A-Level Literature. References from previous private tutoring are available.

As well as GCSE and A-level, I have also taught adult functional skills, access and ESOL English.

I hold an undergraduate (BA) degree in English Literature and Classic Literature and Civilisation as well as a PGCE teaching qualification. I am currently also applying to study for my masters (MA) in education.

I pride myself on being friendly, approachable, down to earth, supportive and professional. I also make sure all students are challenged to fulfil their maximum potential.
