About Azlan
I used to be a tree planter for six years and a climbing arborist for 2 years. I love the outdoors and love working outside. But I do also love math and would love to put my non-physical skills to good use as well. As mentioned before, I was never the best at math in my class and I understand the frustrations that come with not understanding concepts and not being able to solve questions. I want students to not feel like they are alone in this and that it is possible, through proper practice and understanding, to be comfortable with solving even the most complicated math problems.

I have experience teaching for a range of ages.
I like to get to know my students initially to ensure we're a good match and will do whatever you need to feel the most comfortable and focused during our session!
I focus on explanations of basic concepts to build a solid foundation, to make sure you understand why certain things work, and why you were able to get a question right.
Lessons are interactive, it won't be just spouting off information for you to absorb, i'll need your help too! once we have a basic understanding, we would go practice questions together to ensure the skills have been understood.
I was never the best at math but I was lucky to have amazing mentors that were patient enough to help me improve myself
and allow me to have the confidence to face math questions head on.
My goal here is to make sure that one day, you will be good enough to not need me anymore!
