Hey there! I'm Felix, an experienced and passionate guitar tutor ready to help you take your playing from beginner to intermediate levels.
Teaching Style:
When it comes to learning guitar, I believe in creating a fun and relaxed environment. Together, we'll dive into the world of music, focusing on your favorite genres and styles. From mastering basic chords and strumming patterns to exploring more complex techniques, I'll customize the lessons to your specific goals and interests. Background:
I hold a degree in Music from BIMM Bristol, a fantastic institution that expanded my musical horizons. During my studies, I delved into various music theory concepts, performance techniques, and composition. However, I understand that not everyone wants to dive deep into theory, and that's totally cool too! I'm here to tailor the lessons to your preferences and goals. Whether you want to explore the technical aspects of guitar playing or simply focus on learning your favourite songs, I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your musical aspirations in a way that suits your style of learning.
Lesson Structure:
Our lessons will be a mix of structured learning and hands-on practice. We'll start with the basics, covering chords, strumming, and fingerstyle techniques. As you gain confidence and proficiency, we'll explore different genres that interest you, like rock, pop, funk, blues, or folk. We'll even break down songs you love and learn how to play them. Along the way, I'll share tips and tricks that will take your playing to the next level.
Location and Availability:
I offer private guitar lessons in Oxford We can have our sessions in the comfort of your own home or a mutually agreed location that works for both of us. My schedule is flexible, so we can find a time that suits you best, whether it's during weekdays or on weekends.

Experience:
I've had some incredible musical experiences throughout my journey, including my time as a new college chorister. Being part of a college choir opened up a whole new world of music for me. I had the privilege of performing in beautiful cathedrals, working alongside talented musicians, and learning the art of harmonizing and blending voices.
Additionally, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with some amazing artists in the industry. One standout moment was when I recorded and wrote an EP with the talented Brit-nominated artist Shelly Poole. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to apply my skills and creativity to a professional setting. Working alongside Shelly and the renowned producer Nick Southwood, who has been nominated for an Oscar, I gained invaluable insights into the recording process and honed my guitar skills even further.
These experiences have shaped me as a musician and tutor, and I'm excited to bring that expertise to our lessons. I understand the challenges and joys of learning music from scratch, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
