About Rafaella
Hello! My name is Rafaella and I’m a biologist and passionate Science and Biology tutor. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Molecular Genetics at UNICAMP, one of the top research universities in Latin America. I teach in both Biology and English, and I specialize in making complex topics (like genetics, molecular biology, or plant physiology) easier to understand, always connecting them to real life and your goals. As a tutor, I believe in teaching not just content, but also confidence and curiosity. My approach is rooted in kindness, structure, and connection, making science feel exciting, accessible, and meaningful to each student. I adapt every lesson to the student’s pace, learning style, and goals. Whether visual or auditory. I ask guiding questions to encourage thinking and deeper understanding, rather than just memorizing facts. To help with long-term retention, I guide students through effective study techniques used in neuroscience and cognitive psychology. I turn abstract biological concepts into something visual and concrete using metaphors and everyday comparisons. I create a safe space where students feel confident to make mistakes, ask questions, and enjoy learning.
