About Landry
I earned my M.S. in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and have seven years of tutoring experience in Denver. As a former research assistant in quantum optics, I honed the art of translating complex theories into intuitive, student-driven lessons. I hold a Colorado Physics Teaching License and offer weekday evenings and weekend workshops. I begin each Physics session by demystifying classical mechanics—forces, energy conservation, and motion—before weaving in Thermodynamics’ elegant principles (entropy, Carnot efficiency) and introductory Quantum concepts (wave–particle duality, particle in a box). Through interactive PhET visualizations, we explore heat engine cycles and quantum potential wells, then employ Python scripts to simulate energy-level transitions. Assignments mirror AP and collegiate exam formats, ensuring you can derive Maxwell–Boltzmann distributions and solve Schrödinger’s equation in simple systems.
