About Ruwan

Hello! I'm a third-year Bachelor of Education student at North-West University in South Africa. I'm passionate about education, technology and helping others develop new skills.

I'm a patient, approachable and dedicated person who enjoys making learning easier to understand. I believe that everyone can learn something new when they receive the right guidance and support.

Through my university studies and practical teaching experience at a high school, I've developed an appreciation for working with learners and understanding their different learning needs.

I'm fluent in Afrikaans and English, and I'm comfortable communicating in both languages. I enjoy sharing knowledge, solving problems and helping others become more confident in their abilities.

I'm looking forward to meeting new students and helping them reach their learning goals.

About the lesson

I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student at North-West University, specialising in Computer Applications Technology (CAT) and Afrikaans.

My lessons are patient, practical and focused on helping students understand both the theory and practical side of computers. I believe in explaining difficult concepts in simple terms and allowing students enough time to practise and ask questions.

I offer support with CAT, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic computer skills. Lessons can include practical exercises, exam preparation, revision and help with topics students find challenging.

I can teach in both English and Afrikaans. My lessons are aimed mainly at high school learners, particularly Grades 10–12, as well as beginners who want to improve their computer skills.

Every lesson is adapted to the student's individual needs and learning pace. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their understanding and develop practical computer skills they can use in their studies and everyday lives.
