About Sara
I have tutored intermittently throughout high school and since my high school graduation in 2021. Currently I am a third-year dual degree Bachelor of Arts and Business student, majoring in creative writing and marketing. I am extremely dedicated to my own tertiary studies and enjoy tutoring as a means to retain academic skills and knowledge. When I'm not studying, I enjoy reading, writing, and judging bad movies with my friends.
I currently hold a 6.0 GPA as of January 2024. I graduated from the ATAR system in 2021 with the subjects: General English, English Extension, Literature, General Maths, Biology, and Visual Arts. I also completed a Diploma of Business (BSB50215).

I am here to assist with General English, English Extension, and Literature ATAR assessments and exam preparation for Queensland high school students. I am also able to assist in the brainstorming, structuring, proofreading and editing of secondary & tertiary students' creative writing pieces, tailored to rubrics and marking criteria provided by students.
I am also able to assist in academic essay writing, referencing, and initial research, dependent on each individual assessment brief.
My lessons are tailored to each student and their own learning style. I am here to help you organise and polish your ideas!
My own academic, non-creative submissions can be used as exemplars for students & as proof of my ability upon request. Please be aware all my academic work has been submitted through Turnitin and are now part of its anti-plagiarism database :)

Details
First 30min is free as a consultation -- to make sure we're on the same page about your assessment and that I feel equipped to assist you. If you are a high school student currently undertaking ATAR and wanting assistance on assessments based around a particular book, play, film, etc. (e.g. my own assessments were based around King Lear) we will have to discuss the set text and your expectations of my tutoring. I will read your set text with you if it is something I have not previously studied and assist you in getting the most of the text in accordance with your assessment.
All 30min first lessons will be online.
