I am a third year university student and I am a first time tutor, but I have a parent who is a teacher and I have experienced the benefit of tutoring first hand, as tutoring helped me gain confidence and succeed in Physical science.

My teaching methodology is to identify knowledge gaps in the student's understanding of the content by providing him/her with four to five questions of varying levels of difficulty about the content in question, also I will ask the student if there is section/topic of the content that they feel they need help with. At the end of the lesson I will give them four to five more questions as before, in order to see if their understanding of the work has improved.
