My methods depend on the student, as everyone is different. However, generally I will start simple and cover more difficult material as the lesson progresses.
I will give a lessons on one or two principles and then make them go through several examples using this skill. After every major milestone in learning, I will give the students examples of scenarios and data sets and make them perform tasks using they have learned.
