About Palak
I am a third-year Law student at the University of Cambridge, and I entered this highly competitive environment entirely without external support. Going through the LNAT, personal statements and Oxbridge interview preparation alone made me realise how valuable the right guidance would have been — and how different the experience could have felt with someone knowledgeable in my corner. This is what inspired me to teach. I began tutoring because I saw that many talented students are not held back by ability, but by a lack of clear, strategic direction. Over the past two years, I have developed an approach that breaks down complex admissions processes into structured, manageable steps, helping students understand exactly how to think and perform like successful applicants. Supporting students is something I take seriously. I make it a priority to understand their strengths, anxieties and goals so I can tailor my teaching to bring out their best. I also believe in training at a level higher than the real exam or interview, so when the real thing arrives, it feels far less daunting.

I offer a complete, results-focused tutoring package for students applying to study Law, including Oxbridge, Russell Group and competitive international programmes. Over the last two years, I have supported applicants through every stage of the process — LNAT preparation, personal statement strategy, and interview coaching — with a strong record of students securing places at top universities. Having successfully navigated these admissions processes myself, I teach proven methods rather than generic guidance. My approach is structured and practical: students learn how to analyse LNAT passages efficiently, construct high-scoring essays, and apply the reasoning frameworks needed for Oxbridge-style interviews. I also provide line-by-line personal statement support and tailored mock interviews that replicate — and often exceed — the difficulty of the real thing, so that the actual exam or interview feels significantly easier. Students I have worked with consistently highlight my supportive and encouraging teaching style. I push students to achieve their best while creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, practising mistakes and building confidence at their own pace. I specialise in Oxbridge and Russell Group applications, but I work with students across the sector.
