About Shaivi
I am a diligent student pursuing a degree in Medicine at Imperial College London. I have part-time work experience
and extensive knowledge of core subject matter in GCSE and A-Level Biology. I am driven and well-spoken with expertise in self-directed learning. I am passionate towards encouraging a genuine interest in scientific concepts within students, as well as developing effective exam technique. Having studied both courses myself and performed well in these exams, I have first-hand experience to reflect on and share with current pupils.

As well as helping students grasp a solid understanding of key concepts of biology required for exams, I also put a lot of focus on mastering effective exam technique. Whether this be familiarising the student with the mark scheme, or utilising the course specification to establish confidence in the subject content. Each lesson would be 1 hour long, where I will teach the course in specification order and also work through exam style questions to reinforce and apply the knowledge. My lessons are for GCSE and A-level biology students in the UK. I have 3 years of tutoring experience for secondary school students in mathematics and biology.
