About Tarek
I am attending FAU Medicine with a full scholarship. I volunteer as a tutor in the anatomy lab, and have a YouTube channel dedicated to medical physiology and clinical correlates.
Prior to attending medical school, I was on a full scholarship to the University of Miami for dual degrees in English and Biochemistry. I am a published poet with over 10 publications including Pleiades and the I-70 Review. After undergrad, I attended the Miller School of Medicine for my MPH grad degree, with a partial academic scholarship.
I also have a research career in Public Health, with a recent first author publication in the American Journal of Medicine. I also publish radiology reviews.

I assign readings and homework to prepare the student for the session.
We will typically do a quick overview of the topic, followed by case examples to further flesh out the concepts.
I can teach from the undergrad level to the graduate school basic science level (USMLE Step 1).
