About Molly
I am studying to become a doctor at university. I have completed the pre-clinical years of my training meaning I have a strong grasp of human biology and science. I have experience in tutoring chemistry and biology online and giving workshops to aspiring future medical students including guidance on admissions tests, university life and medical ethics. In my spare time I enjoy being creative through spending time practising art and dance.

My name is Molly; I am a medical student at university. I am looking to help biology students improve their understanding and grades. I aim to help students be active in their own learning by creating a safe and trusting environment in which students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes. I focus on helping students understand different concepts rather than just be able to recite facts from a textbook.
I organise my lessons into 3 parts:
1. Lesson on chosen topic from the previous week - I will give a condensed lesson using mind maps and drawing to explain and teach the chosen topic covering material from the student's exam specification.
2. Questions - I will then assign the student questions based on the material covered for them to complete and talk through with me afterwards or for them to complete with my guidance depending on the student's confidence and competence.
3. Review - This is where all concepts will be brought together and there is opportunity for the student to ask any questions or clarify any difficulties. We when then discuss points for moving forward (what went well, what the student believe could be better) and decide the topic for the next lesson.
