About Sophy
I'm a third year Psychology student at Durham University (one of the top universities in the UK). I achieved A-levels in English Literature, Fine Art and Psychology. In secondary school I found revising for my GCSEs really overwhelming at first but soon learnt the techniques that brought my grades up (in the case of English Literature, from a 5 to an 8). I did this by utilising past-papers and mark schemes to find out what the examiner really wanted me to write as well as many other techniques that I'd love to share with you so that you can do the same.

My approach to tutoring is to discuss your concerns regarding your course and go from there! I exceeded my predicted grades in every GCSE and A-level that I took and my intention is to help you do the same. My degree in Psychology has taught me about effective learning strategies to maximise efficiency in learning to get the best grades possible for you. Every brain is different and requires different methods to learn and I'm confident I can help you find your optimum method. Typical lessons will be 1 hour long and I'm happy to tutor from KS3, GCSE or A-levels.
