About Ellen
Physics has been my field of study and teaching for more than five years. Holding a BSc in Space and Planetary Science, I bring both knowledge and enthusiasm to my tutoring. I focus on preparing high school students for IGCSE and A-Level Physics. My lessons include practical experiments, which make abstract ideas easier to grasp. I also emphasize detailed derivations, so students can follow equations from start to finish. Mechanics is a subject I enjoy teaching, breaking it down into logical steps. Electricity is taught with real-world connections, linking formulas to everyday devices. Waves are explained clearly, using examples like sound and light to show how they work. I use past papers often, as they are excellent for building exam readiness. Lessons are structured to follow a progression, ensuring steady improvement. I also provide feedback that encourages growth and confidence. Physics may feel intimidating, but with effort and the right approach it becomes manageable. Physics should be exciting, not intimidating. That’s why my lessons are warm, storytelling-based, and interactive. I specialize in guiding beginners who may struggle with equations.
