Studied Philosophy & Classics, then Comparative Literature & Linguistics
I don’t believe grades are a measure of a person’s knowledge, but the American education system values certain types of writing and reading skills and has particular ways of evaluating them. I have never had less than an A (4.0) in any English / Literature class in my life. Fair to say I know how you’re supposed to ace these assessments, and I’m willing to teach others because anyone can learn these tricks to become a confident writer.
