About Krysten
I currently hold a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, and I am completing my Graduate Degree in Psychology.
I have worked in the Educational field for the last eight years and LOVE learning. In 2022, I decided to extend my International Experience and became a Local Coordinator for High School age Foreign Exchange students, as well. This has allowed me to work with families from around the world in offering students a chance to spend an entire school year here in the U.S.
When I am not in the classroom you can find me enjoying my hobbies of cooking, baking, camping, hiking, exploring and fishing near our home.

As a professional teacher, I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic, and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals.
I have over 8 years of formal teaching experience and have been working as a Tutor for the past 5 years with over 50,000 classes. I have worked for private clients and learning centers, as well as local and international students and families.
In addition to teaching fundamentals, I assist my students with overcoming mindset blocks that prevent them from practicing the newly learned skills and help them build confidence in their abilities. Not only that, but I do everything I can to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for my students
