About Cody
I am a top 5 player in my age group in Coquitlam. I am rated over 2000 on various online platforms and have an over-the-board rating of 1500+. I am by no means a master, but I love the game, and hope I can help others succeed in the game as well. I am the best player on my school chess team, and we are the strongest school chess team in the Tri-City Area.

I usually start with a practice game and will analyze the student's game after step by step. I will go through all 3 stages of the game: opening, middlegame, and endgame, and give tactical advice along the way. Lastly, I will add onto player's opening repertoire by teaching them new openings that suit their playstyle or help strengthen their preferred opening repertoire. I can teach complete beginners or players under 1400.
