About Alexandria
I am a non-practicing attorney with an undergraduate degree in Non-Western History and Arabic Language. My academic passions include history, civics, government, and anthropology.
My focus in law school was international and business law. While I currently do not practice law, I maintain a current bar membership and utilize my writing skills daily.
When I am not working I am an Irish dancer and enjoy spending time with my two rescue cats.

Writing is a highly individual process and my approach to tutoring reflects that. Beginning writers will learn paragraph construction and organization while advanced writers will develop their own voice and learn self-editing techniques to catch common writing and grammatical errors. My focus is on working with the individual and their particular thought pattern to identify effective strategies to improve writing.
I am comfortable working with late elementary through high school students preparing for college.
