About Arya
I’ve always believed English is more than just reading books and writing essays; it’s learning how to think with originality and express ideas with confidence. Completing IB English Literature HL taught me how to analyze complex texts, structure arguments with intention, and write with nuance. Those skills helped me consistently achieve top results, but more importantly, they showed me how rewarding it is to master language as a tool. When I tutor, I focus on helping students discover their own voice while developing the technical skills needed for high marks. I break writing down into clear, manageable steps and offer detailed feedback so progress feels tangible every week. My students describe me as encouraging, organized, and committed to their growth. I genuinely enjoy seeing that moment when analysis “clicks” and a student realizes they are capable of more than they thought. I work professionally, with a supportive approach that suits both high-achievers aiming for top results and students who want to build confidence in reading and writing.

My classes focus on building strong analytical and writing skills through discussion, guided questioning, and structured practice. I work closely with students to develop clear essay arguments, refine textual analysis, and expand vocabulary appropriate to academic writing. Each lesson is tailored to the individual’s learning style, with targeted feedback that supports growth in both confidence and expression.
Lessons typically run for one hour and include short skill-based activities, model response breakdowns, and step-by-step essay planning. I recently completed IB English Literature HL with high achievement and have worked extensively with analytical writing under both the IB and ATAR systems. My lessons are ideal for students from Year 7 to Year 12 who want to improve essay structure, interpretation of literary texts, creative writing, and exam preparation.
