About Liam
Hello, I’m Liam. I’ve just completed my A-levels with predicted grades of AAA*A in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I am passionate about helping students achieve their potential by making difficult topics clear and approachable. I understand how stressful exams can be, and I aim to build confidence as well as knowledge in every lesson. My teaching is structured, friendly, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on explaining concepts in simple terms, using real examples, and developing strong exam techniques to maximise marks. Students describe my explanations as clear and easy to understand, and I always encourage questions to ensure true understanding rather than memorisation. I teach GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14-18) in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Lessons are usually 1 hour but can be adjusted depending on your goals and availability. My approach is friendly, structured, and exam-focused. I start each lesson by identifying the student’s weakest areas through questions and discussion, then explain concepts clearly using real examples and step-by-step methods. I ensure students understand why each step is taken, not just memorise it. I use exam-style questions to build confidence and teach effective techniques to approach and structure answers. I adapt explanations to suit different learning styles and encourage students to ask questions without hesitation. Typical lessons are 1 hour but can be longer for intensive revision. I teach GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14-18) in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I’ve just finished my A-levels with predicted grades of AAA*A in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Having recently studied these subjects myself, I know exactly what examiners look for and how to explain topics in a way students relate to. My lessons are for students who want to build strong foundations, improve their exam technique, and boost confidence ready for upcoming exams.
