About Angelica
Hi, I’m Angelica! I am a high-achieving student with a 4.0 GPA and strong experience in advanced math, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II and Geometry. I scored 760 on the SAT Math section and have earned top scores in AP courses, giving me firsthand experience with both rigorous coursework and standardized tests.
My tutoring approach focuses on clarity, patience, and building confidence. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, which strengthens their critical thinking and retention.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a guided explanation of new concepts. We then work through practice problems together, gradually increasing difficulty as the student gains confidence. I end each session by summarizing key takeaways and assigning targeted practice to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my combination of high academic achievement and personal experience with AP and standardized tests. As a student maintaining a 4.0 GPA while achieving top scores in multiple AP courses, I’ve developed the discipline and study skills that I bring into every tutoring session I can explain complex material in multiple ways, adapting my approach to each student’s learning style.
