About Alyssa
I am a compassionate and creative student who has excelled in Creative Arts, Math, Sciences, and English in the past and I’m willing to apply that to my methodical teachings of mathematics to make things seem more enjoyable and fun. Being a very child-oriented girl with many siblings I realize that everybody has a different way of learning so that knowledge can be applied to tutoring tactics and adaptability. Throughout all of this, I want my student to understand that I’m not a teacher who cares about getting the best mark, I am one who utilizes the opportunities of obtaining knowledge to be used to achieve academic success, another step closer to achieving a career.

Hey guys! My name is Ally and I am a year 11 student who specializes in math. It may seem like an impossible thing to learn when you don’t understand. Being somebody who fell in love with that feeling of timely understanding, I want to bring that joy to other people and help them achieve their goals. I will adapt to whatever the student needs so if they want a strict and concise teacher, I can be that for them. I can be fun and gentle, or methodical and critical. I have many different methods of teaching. Whether you’re an audible learner, a visual learner, or someone who understands by doing it, I as a teacher, will support you in every way to achieve the best results. I share tactics on how to get high marks on exams: how to maintain composure in stressful situations when you feel like you’re stuck, how to manage your time, and how to properly study. Any student should feel safe and feel like they are gaining knowledge from their teacher and I will make that my number one priority.
