About Joaquin
I come from a long line of teachers and proudly continue this tradition. I have degrees from the University of Virginia, the University of North Carolina, Duke University, and the University of Vigo. I have taught college-level, study abroad classes, high school, elementary, and adult learners. I am a native bilingual speaker of both English and Spanish. I am also a prolific professional writer and a passionate fan of film, music, pets (I am a dog and cat owner!), travel, and more.
For me, being a teacher is inseparable from being a lifelong learner.
