About Joseph
My passion for acting and musical theatre began at the age of 4 in my first production, and has grown ever since. I made my professional debut almost a decade ago. I have been involved in a number of professional plays, musicals, pantomimes and music videos. I have also performed in a West End theatre. I have 2 and a half years of teaching experience in singing, acting and musical theatre, and continue to better myself daily, still training in my craft. I strongly believe in practising what I teach, and am currently training in Musical Theatre at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting, whose alumni included Michael Ball and Brenda Blethyn. I have Level 3 Qualifications in both Acting and Musical Theatre and have gone through teacher training I am fluent in Romanian and Spanish.

In vocals, I work with techniques tailored to each person, from beginner techniques to advanced methods of bettering range and safely projecting vocals. I work with grounding, anchoring, support, tension release and many more methods of strengthening vocal ability. Together we can discover your chest, mix and head voice. My priority is teaching how to safely use your voice. In acting, I use various practitioners, such as Stanislavski and Brecht, both of whom have different visions, and adapt accordingly, making these accessible and modernising them. I work on pace, pitch, pause, resonance and many other techniques. Musical Theatre incorporates acting through song, and movement, with different styles, and I work with legit and contemporary. I teach the LAMDA syllabus from Entry Grades to Grade 8 in both Acting and Musical Theatre and pride myself in gaining distinctions for my students.
