About Emily
I began my teaching journey at the University of Canberra, Australia, where I developed a strong foundation in education. At the age of 21, I started my career as a full-time PE Teacher for primary-aged students, where I learnt the importance of fostering physical activity and well-being in young learners. My passion for teaching soon led me to broaden my experience, and I transitioned to a role as a relief classroom teacher, working with students aged 4 to 18 across various subjects and grade levels. In 2023, I took the exciting step of moving to London, where I have been working as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher. In this role, I provide one-on-one support for students with a wide range of needs, tailoring my teaching strategies to meet each student's individual learning requirements. This experience has deepened my understanding of inclusive education and strengthened my ability to adapt my approach to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.

I prioritise building a solid foundation in the basics while designing engaging and meaningful activities to help students achieve their learning goals. Each lesson is tailored to meet the individual needs of the child, using materials and approaches that best support their learning style. My lessons typically last between 30 to 120 minutes, depending on the child's age and specific requirements. As a trained teacher with experience working with students ranging from 4 to 18 years old, I adapt my teaching methods to ensure that each student receives the attention and support they need to thrive.
