I am a current second year student at Durham University on the BA Primary Education course. I have been teaching for 2 years within the primary classroom and have been helping in the education environment for 5 years. This includes tutoring other pupils and offering support and guidance to individuals.

I base my teaching on the individual learner. Every learner is different in the way that they learn and understand things. I believe the learner should be the centre of teaching because they are the most important person in the process of learning. I always try to make my lessons engaging and interactive so that learning occurs.
