As a person I am enthusiastic and energetic which I believe suits the role of teaching and tutoring best, but because of this I make sure to take extra care in the way I approach lesson plans in order to accommodate more reserved or quiet students as not to overwhelm them while still incorporating lessons where those students who are more confident also have their needs attended to. For example, using the Open Pairs method allows more reserved students to share with those next to them in more comfortable interactions, while the more confident students also contribute to these conversations but may take the next step to relay these discussions to the teacher and class. Equally, I like to use lesson plans which begin with conversation, usually about the upcoming topic which allows the students to become calm and comfortable in the classroom while becoming familiar and engaging with the forthcoming material
