About Irene
The most important thing about myself is that I have a passion for languages.
I started already in High School with Spanish, Latin, Ancient Greek, English and French. I decided to continue learning at the university, where I improved my knowledge, first as a student in Spain, afterwards as a research assistant in Germany. I specialized in Latin and its translation into Spanish, I developed my linguistic knowledge and gained some experience as a teacher. When I moved to Germany, I also started German lessons that I combined with my work at the university.
Thanks to all these years working with languages at different levels, I acquired a structured and well-founded knowledge which is of great help when it comes to teaching.

My Spanish lessons adapt to the needs of each student.
In the first hour, we agree on the main points we want to work on. T
According to this, we will highlight and work during the lessons on these points. For example:
A student has problems with Spanish grammar and wants to review the basics. I will then prepare explanations and dynamic exercises for him and explain the challenging parts until the student is satisfied.
Another example:
Someone wants to improve their Spanish but is not interested in grammar, grammatical rules or long lists of exercises. In this case, I will prepare a lesson for him where I can teach him the culture and language with the help of videos, texts, articles and other kinds of materials.
The lessons will be of course in Spanish (with exceptions).
