About Morgan
I began learning French while living in Lyon on a working holiday visa in 2016 and returned to study at Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2019 for eight months as part of an overseas exchange program. I received a BA from La Trobe University in 2020, averaging a score of 94/100 in my French studies, and while in Melbourne I maintain an active role in the French community to keep up my language skills and connection to the culture.

My belief is that language learning is primarily about the ability to communicate. With that in mind, my lessons focus first on how one may use the target language by imagining real life situations and practising it in many variations and then second on breaking down the grammatical elements at play to gain a theoretical understanding of the target language.
A typical lesson goes for 50 minutes and involves four key components; a short review of the previous lesson, practical use of target language, discussion of important grammatical points and time at the end for any questions and/or clarifications.
I'm interested in teaching complete beginners (A1) to early intermediate learners (B1) from any age range and will modify my lessons according to your needs.
I am happy to follow along with any syllabus you’re already studying or I can create a personal study plan just for you!
