About Levi

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 3 years of teaching and laboratory mentoring experience, holding an MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry. My focus is analytical chemistry, guiding students to master laboratory techniques and instrumentation. I specialize in chromatography, including HPLC, GC, and TLC, teaching students how to analyze separation efficiency, retention times, and peak behavior. Spectroscopy lessons include UV–Vis, IR, and NMR, where students learn to extract structural information from observed data. Titrations are a core focus, emphasizing endpoint precision, reagent handling, and error minimization. I also provide guidance on experimental design, helping learners plan experiments, control variables, and develop reliable methods. Data interpretation is a key part of my teaching, including calibration curves, statistical evaluation, and error assessment. I have experience working with chemistry lab students and learners preparing for research or quality assurance roles. My lessons cover method validation, quality control, and proper documentation practices. I combine theory, practical exercises, and problem-solving tasks to build confidence and analytical skills. Students learn to perform experiments independently, analyze results critically, and approach lab work with precision. I enjoy seeing learners gain confidence in chemical analysis and measurement. The satisfaction of obtaining reproducible, reliable data is deeply rewarding, and I love sharing this joy with every student I teach.

This teaching methodology emphasizes deep analytical review, structured learning, and real-world application. Lessons cover macromolecules, enzyme kinetics, metabolic pathways, and biochemistry fundamentals. Case studies illustrate the connection between chemical theory and biological processes. Students learn to analyze enzyme mechanisms, substrate interactions, and metabolic networks. Zoologists and botanists are given examples relevant to their field to improve comprehension and application. Analytical review sessions identify gaps and reinforce understanding. Learners practice interpreting experimental data, evaluating pathways, and predicting outcomes. Stepwise problem-solving exercises strengthen critical thinking and reasoning skills. Personalized feedback helps learners achieve academic excellence. Lessons integrate theory, practical examples, and analytical exercises to build mastery. Students gain confidence in evaluating complex biochemical processes. The approach ensures learning is structured, engaging, and rewarding. By the end, learners refine knowledge and develop mastery in biological chemistry.
