I have previous experience of tutoring English literature to GCSE level and I have extensive experience of taking part in poetry and literature discussion groups and of writing poetry myself. I have also worked in an educational context as an examinations invigilator.

My teaching methodology is based around tailoring every class to the particular needs of the student. Lessons will be structured around a close analysis of texts and extensive discussion. We will focus on whichever texts or aspects of the course need the most work in order to maximize examinations performance.
