About Wendy
Scored A*AAA in A-levels (A* in bio and A’s in maths, chemistry, and psychology.) Currently studying medicine in the UK. Growing up, I’ve always been described as a ‘nerd’. I’ve always found joy in my academics and always did very well. Throughout my A-levels, I was advised by my teachers to take up tutoring as a side job, due to my interest in academics and depth of understanding of academic concepts. As a result, I looked into it and am now very eager to be able to assist those in need of help in an area which I am passionate about.

Hi! Thank you for clicking on my page. These tutoring lessons will take the shape of whatever you, the student, require. If you have specific topics you would like me to go over, that can be done. Alternatively, if you have questions with homework or need general support in certain subjects, that can also be done. The sessions will likely run for an hour at a time.

Wendy not only takes care to make sure whoever she’s tutoring understands and is very confident in the topic, she creates a comfortable environment where you’re not scared of making mistakes. Her tutoring me is honestly more like having a really smart friend explain a topic and effectively put me through than an actual tutor.
Wendy and I were classmates during A-levels and she was extremely helpful when I was struggling with A-level maths! We would often FaceTime or meet at the library to ‘revise’ together, but most of that time was usually spent by her explaining everything to me whenever I was completely lost (LOL). Nonetheless, she was extremely helpful and I ended up with a B as my final grade when I was barely scraping a C throughout the year. Let her tutor you!
